Hello!
My name is Vadim, and I'm an amateur photographer. For me, everything that surrounds us in life - is beautiful, we're just missing the time to stop, look around and appreciate that beauty. You can just look around and find it in anything - simply the beauty that's in any cloud, any tree, flower, and even in any water puddle that's quietly resting on the asphalt.
My profession in life is mostly associated with the world of numbers and metal, and that is why I, myself, can rarely find the time to look for that which catches our eye, that which is pulling our gaze and is only waiting to be remembered.
Maybe that's why I like photographing so much, since every photograph - is a moment in life, one that can't be reproduced.
Most of my work tends to the "still life" genre. One reason is that in "still life" you can produce your vision, without any hurry. You can change or add anything that fits or does not in your vision. Another reason for my affection towards this genre is that a "still life" picture can't say that he's ugly in that picture and can't get mad at you for that. But on a more serious note, sadly I can't afford traveling much or shooting photographs in a professional studio, which I don't have.
Everything, that I photographed, was done only for myself, and in the year 2020 I took an online course of the incredibly talented photographer - Eduard Craft, which taught me and other beginner photographers how to control the lightning and how to build your own composition, as well as many other things.
How well I succeeded or failed to study those things, is not up for my judgement, and one day a thought came to me to share my "Moments in Life" with other people. Thus, I created this site, as a virtual gallery of my works, one that any person who wants can come in and see. If anyone likes or manages to understand the feelings these works evoke, my goal will be complete. All of the pictures are downloadable, with the fitting resolution for a computer monitor. For the full resolution of a picture, please contact me personally.
Thank you and enjoy the works, Vadim Kulinsky.
